CHANGED---NEW POLICY/INVITATION

as a few may recall watchtower policy has changed when circumstances serves the interest of the governing body in getting rid of someone they want to railroad.

an example that has been offered involves peter gregerson.

peter was a personal friend to ray franz, in 1980 peter wrote a letter to the society, saying he wanted no further association with the organization.

I really doubt if they will allow you to stay!..

I sent my DA letter before 1980. I wonder if the rules are changed for me? Or if they still consider the old rules apply to me?

My JW Mother in law and Sister in law visit very often. We also eat together. And my Mother in law HAS discussed spiritual matters ...slightly...with me. Of course telling me how close Armageddon is!

I keep waiting for her to say something about it! But she depends on Hubby (Her inactive JW son) and I to do work around her farm. We see her every weekend. She doesn't have to depend on us. She is financially well off enough that she could afford to hire help..Course we are free!

And of course no one at the Hall has the time to help her all the time!

Funny how the rules are bent to fit the situation! Eh?

Gutted about the Kingdom Ministry

its 2:15 am and i have to go to bed altho im not tired!

i was so upset by that kingdom ministry about how to treat df ones.

ill log off and when i sign back in in the morning, i hope to see 3546154263541658468154 posts on this making me smile and laugh cos im gonna need it!.

Well..we picked up the JW sister of hubby's that is visiting from NY this week. She was very sweet. She went to Virginia to help her Disfellowshipped son and his disfellowshipped wife with their new baby.

We mentioned in talking (We delivered her to her JW Mom's 2 hours away)that we would take her JW mom(Hubbys mom also) down to see the new baby and she sure doesn't seem to want us to. I felt that she really didn't want me talking to them..I tried not to snicker!

I asked her what her and her JW hubby were going to do after he retires next year...Of course they are going to pioneer full time. I will believe this when I see it!

She is already making excuses about her poor sick JW Mother in law needing them.She lives with them. She has so many Dr Appointments that they have to drive her to!

Going to visit Wednesday..we will be together all day! I wonder if I can hold my tonque that long....

Hubby hates it when I get in these moods!:::::He He!

Found out JW mother in law is shopping and donating to the "Agape Christian Thrift Store!" Shame on her!

Looking after orphans and widows

christian organisations around the world have a long-standing interest in rendering physical and material aid to those in their communities who find themselves in need.

in recent times, the wts have reacted to criticism that they have not lived up to the apostle james' admonition to "look after orphans and widows in their tribulation" (james 1:27) so on their media website, they make a statement entitled "contribution to the community".

so, how do those claiming to be the true christians render such aid.

And the Orphans are sent to be wards of the state or adopted by a "Worldly Person"...

YEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Golden Girl...who helps take care of a "Widow"..because everone in her Hall is too busy! And her JW daughter moved to NY...2 days away!....

But they are very loving when the say they are too busy!

Jw chatup lines!!!!!!!

what chatup lines do you think jws were most likely to use to pull at say an assembly,mmmmm i wonder if they prepared them like say doing a talk,i bet they did because most i knew seemed under pressure to meet someone and a lot of ones i knew never pulled at assemblys due to such boring conversations with others, i mean what could they talk about.

so cmon what chatup lines are likely to work.

My JW mother in law was bragging to me the other day about a couple in her congregation that met online! They eventually got married and still are!...Shame Shame!

I wonder if they got in trouble for using the computer?

I am always amazed at what comes out of her mouth!

I remember another couple that got married. At their wedding they said it was the first time they kissed. And they were in their 30's.

What's funny is she had just got reinstated. She had been DF for fornicating with the C.O.

So I guess she could have sex..but No-No to the kissing!

Well I am DA...have been for many years. My Mother in Law is a devout JW..For over 50 years. My hubby(her son) is inactive.

She had the KM in her bookbag. I am still waiting for something to happen. Nothing is bein said. She still "Lets" us come up to her farm and cut grass every week! Has lunch with me! And I just found out she is shopping at an "Agape" thrift store!(Loves thrift stores and rummage sales). Well her Devout JW daughter is coming down to visit from NY this weekend and we get to pick her up at the airport! Then she will stay at our house and we take her to her mom's the next morning. It is a 2 hour drive.

I keep hearing all the horror stories about shunning and am waiting for the bomb to drop!

I can't wait to get ot of cutting her grass and other "chores" she has waitng for us!

A few years ago I was banned from a anniversay party for them. They thought I might stumble someone. They had other relatives there that used to go to the meetings and quit..but they were not baptised....So my hubby and kids refused to go also!

So I get the feeling I am being "Used"...

What do you think?

According to the KM they should not be associating with me and especially not eating with me and shopping with me..Did I read that wrong?

you know how it goes, someone doesn't want to give offense or get "offside" with readers, colleagues etc so they try and agree with two conflicting arguments simultaneously.

the watchtower wouldn't do that, would it?

Hubby get the magazines and I saw that picture..but didn't even notice the things brought out here! Shame on me..I try not to miss to many times of pointing these stupid things out to him!

I was so wrapped up in the "Prayer " article..You have to know the right way to pray before God can hear you!

I had a good friend that was an electrician. He got shocked constantly..he was a man of many personalities!

Really!

It was like shock treatments I guess..changed his personality!

And my one of two near death experiences consisted of a car wreck I was in.

It all started to go in slow motion! That was really spooky!

I watched the front of my car come up to me in slow motion! I just hoped it would stop before I would die! And I had no fear!

Strange exerience!
